Opening Keynote

6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

On Friday evening, the general public is invited to our opening keynote address by Hillary Hartley, the Chief Digital Officer of Ontario.

Civic Tech Science Fair

7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

The public keynote will be followed by a networking reception and Civic Tech Science Fair, which will showcase a number of Canadian organizations working on projects that use digital tools to improve civic engagement.

will gather to discuss the future of digital citizenship for Canadians.

Unwind following Connected Canada 150 at the post-conference reception hosted by The Conversation Canada.

Join us at Café Nostalgica, 601 Cumberland St, from 5 – 7 p.m. for drinks, appetizers and stimulating conversation.

The Conversation Canada is a new non-profit initiative helping researchers share their expertise and knowledge with readers in Canada and worldwide. Our team of professional editors work with researchers to unlock their knowledge for audiences, promoting a better understanding of current affairs and complex issues.
